I've spent more than 20 years working with people from all over the world, in many different roles and fields. That's why I can see things from many different perspectives. From German roots to a Latin heart.
I was born and raised in Munich, Germany, and today I live in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, working with clients internationally, across time zones. I speak German, English and Spanish, and I bring the structure, organization and reliability I learned in Germany together with the flexibility, openness and international perspective I've developed traveling around the world and living in Mexico. When I'm not working, you'll find me dancing bachata, hanging out with friends on the beach or spending time at home with my cat, Tito, who has strong opinions about my work schedule.
I started working at 15, back in 1999. Hospitality, customer support and assisting a CEO: every role added something new. Different jobs, same thing every time: if something needed to be organized, solved or handled quietly in the background, that was usually me. Along the way I developed strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and client management skills. What I bring to my work is a mix of creativity and structure: I love creating ideas and content, but I also know how important planning, consistency and actually getting things done are.
In 2018 I did something completely different and out of my comfort zone. I fulfilled my dream of living abroad and spent a year working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, USA. Afterwards I travelled for some time and made another dream come true: three months in Colombia, learning Spanish. That time changed how I saw the world, and Germany started to feel too small. It made me curious about what else was out there, and brave enough to find out.
When Covid hit, everything changed. In May 2020 I started working remotely in customer support for a hospitality tech company, which showed me that my job could go anywhere I did. At the beginning of 2021 I tested remote life for real, first in Tulum. I have always loved to travel and to discover new countries, cultures and places, and Latin America had already stolen my heart in Colombia. Mexico gave me everything I was looking for: the weather, the ocean, the culture and, of course, the food. So in November 2021 I moved to Mexico for good. Same company, same job, different country, fully remote.
How my own business started
In January 2023 I became a self-employed freelancer here in Mexico, combining everything I'd learned about structure and service with a fully remote way of working. I kept working in customer support, now part-time, and at the same time I established myself as a Virtual Assistant, built on the same reliability I learned in hospitality. Along the way I created my own travel agency focused on travel in Mexico and became a certified Social Media Manager (2024). That's how my own business started, step by step.
While all of this was happening, another part of my life started to change. In December 2023 I began working with a life coach. I was going through a rough time and had the feeling I could use some support in my daily life. I had several sessions, and when they ended, I didn't stop. I kept learning for myself, online, with books and with everything else I could find, and I went deep into mindset, manifestation and astrology. I was truly impressed by how much it changed me personally, and by how much it gives you when you actually apply it in your daily life. Along the way I found a mentor who inspired me to do this on my own.
In 2025 I started sharing what I learn on Instagram. A lot was changing around me and in my life, and I learned a lot from it. I spent a lot of time with myself, and then I finally decided to start the project I had carried in my head for a long time: my heart project.
My content comes from conversations. I talk with friends and with strangers all the time, and they give me input on topics where everyone has a different opinion. I start questioning those topics and turn that into content. It also comes from what I still hear from my mentor and from what I experience in my own daily life.
Helping people is what matters most to me here. So I'm taking it further and getting certified as a coach, to support people even better and to reach more of those who are ready for a change. What helped me and changed my life so much is what I now want to share, with all my heart, with people who are open and need a change.
All this time, of course, I was also running and growing my business. I found several social media clients of my own, worked together with my social media community and worked on strategy challenges.
After almost six years with the same company, it simply stopped feeling right. On paper it was the safe choice: a fixed contract and a secure income. But I noticed I had to force myself to get up in the morning for a job I didn't enjoy anymore, while all I wanted was to focus on myself, my business and what I really want to do. So in October 2025 I gave notice, before everything else was lined up. I didn't do it impulsively, I thought it through carefully. But I bet on myself.
At the same time, a plan I had carried for a while became real: my own English Social Media Manager course. In January 2026 I signed the franchise agreement for it, and in March I stopped working for the German company. The course has been ready since June, so other people can build the same kind of freedom-based business.
When that chapter ended in March, I did something I hadn't done in years: I took a real break. Five weeks of vacation, my first proper one in a very long time. Something changed in that time. I found my inner peace and my inner strength again and recharged my batteries, so I finally had the energy to get clear about myself, my business and where I want to go. I brainstormed, and new ideas kept coming. I came back stronger and ready for a fresh start.
Today my business is entirely my own: my clients, my hours, my rules. I took all that experience in a new direction and started building my career in the digital space. And that's why I created Simplified Social: it's the next step on this journey, and I'm here for you now.

Where it all started: an apprenticeship in office management, then hotel management at a Marriott hotel in Munich. Front office in hotels, a private clinic and a spa, reservation management with budget responsibility, and in between assisting the CEO and management with HR, accounting and payroll support.
Bachelor Professional of Business Administration
An evening degree, alongside full-time work: business management, HR, accounting and controlling, law and marketing.

A year as a cast member in food and beverage: guest relations, training new colleagues and working with guests from all over the world.
